Inspiring films will be offered by the library in collaboration with the Purdue University Northwest Odyssey Art Series and the Irving Levin Jewish Cultural Fund of Sinai Temple. Sugihara: Conspiracy of Kindness tells the story of how a heroic Japanese diplomat saved Jewish refugees in World War II. Dancing in Jaffa follows three different children forced to confront issues of identity, segregation, and racial prejudice as they dance with their historical archenemies. A sweet and moving tale filled with truth, humor, and hope. Neither film is rated. There will be a refreshment break between the movies.
