Each Thursday we will focus on a different relevant topic, provide group support (with a Psychologist and/or Clinical Social Worker) and of course — lunch!

Eat, Sleep, Poop — The Joys of New Motherhood
In our introductory session, led by Parenting Center Coordinator Stacey Wallenstein, MA, we will get to know each other and discuss the wonders and challenges of having a new baby. We’ll also discuss how you’re doing with your new job title — “Mom”. Karen Barasch, DO, practicing OB/Gyn in the community, will discuss important aspects of maternal self-care and postpartum recovery.
Infant Care with Linda Zuccaro, LCCE
Babies are small and a little bit scary. We will have a pediatric specialist speaking to our group about basic infant care, first aid, and what to stock your medical cabinet with the first few months.
Mom Enough with Marissa Sherov, mom of twin boys and Clinical Social Worker
By letting go of the pressure to be the perfect mom, you become the best mom you can be. We will learn mindfulness techniques to be more present with your baby, increase awareness of self judgment, and be more in touch with your needs and the needs of your baby.
Music Together with Not Just Art
Music Together is an internationally recognized music program for children. It provides a fun, comfortable environment for children to make music with their families.
Resolving Sleep Issues with Sleep, Rest & Play
Sleep is one of the most popular new mom topics. Once this piece of the puzzle is resolved you will often find that everything else falls into place. We will discuss the tools and strategies to get there.
We all want to use the best and most gentle products for our new little babies. Mary from Babyganics will show you how their gentle, innovate, and effective products can help you navigate motherhood.
Baby Food 101 with Sara Fins, CHC, AADP
Have you thought about making your own baby food but weren't sure where to start? We will discuss the basics for starting solids, how to prepare and store baby food, and tips and tricks to make it simple.
Baby Sign Language with My Classy Baby
Baby Sign Language instruction is a fun fusion of music, American Sign Language, sensory activities, reading and exploring. We will teach simple signs to increase communication between you and your baby.
