The Military Aviation Museum has opened registration for its annual Warbirds Aviation Summer Camp. During this fun-filled learning experience, both girls and boys will spend their days at the Military Aviation Museum, among the largest private collections of operational vintage and reproduction aircraft in the world.
Campers will have the thrill of being up-close and personal with historical World War I and World War II-era fighters, bombers, trainers and seaplanes, all while they learn everything about them, as well as aviation in general.
This promises to be quite the experience any young aviator wouldn’t want to miss. The week-long camp will be held July 16-20. Camp hours will vary based upon grade level. Camp hours for grades 4-5 will be 9am to noon each day. Camp hours for grades 6-10 will be 9am to 4pm each day.
Register your child at www.militaryaviationmuseum.org/summer-camp or call the museum at (757) 721-7767.
Costs for the camp are $200 for grades 4-5 and $400 for grades 6-10.
