As part of UMSL's Sexual Assault Awareness Week, ASUM has partnered with Triton Health Educators to bring you a discussion panel to look at the #MeToo movement and some aspects that directly affect UMSL students, both now as students, into their careers and throughout their life.
The panel will discuss multiple topics including: How sexual assault and harassment occur and are dealt with in the different sectors- Public, Private, Academic & Military. As well as how different aspects of our culture color these experiences.
The focus of the event is to empower women and individuals by discussing how to sexual assault and harassment can manifest differently in various cultural and professional settings, how to navigate those situations and be a part of creating environments free from these dynamics.
