Drawing from expertise in video games, social media, apps, film, and television, faculty will demonstrate strategies to teach students how to find, evaluate, and communicate information. Participants will learn strategies to integrate these media texts in classes as they engage students in curating information and developing positive digital footprints. This active institute equips teachers with the skills to teach critical engagement of digital tools to support digital citizenship and learning.
