Intro to Partner Yoga/AcroYoga
with Amy & Elli
"Vulnerability is the essence of connection.
And connection is the essence of existence."
Join us on Mother's Day Weekend for a loving exploration of fun and laughter!
Explore what happens when you allow your yoga practice to expand.
To become more than just a body twisting on a rectangular mat.
Yoga is always about relationships, about forging connections.
At times, that connection is between the body and the breath--the relationship you have with yourself.
But yoga can also radically transform the way we relate to each other, and the way we interact.
This 90-minute class will be an easygoing, lighthearted exploration of physical movement and connection--finding new ways to stretch the body and make it feel good.
Think partner stretching, dynamic movement, and restorative postures that help you relax.
Then, we will learn the basics of basing and flying or AcroYoga. No experience necessary!
This workshop-style class is designed for beginners of all ages, shapes, and sizes, so don't hesitate if you've never tried AcroYoga or Partner Yoga before.
When was the last time you tried something outside of your comfort zone? Challenge yourself in a supportive, loving environment with skilled teachers.
We will work as a group and also in partners, but you do not need to bring a partner to come along! Feel free to come as you are and be welcomed into the Mind Body Movement community.
