Join the lovely Scarlett O'Connor for a vinyasa flow inspired yoga practice. Scarlett brings a fresh and innovative approach to her yoga which will keep you busy on your mat and fire you up to a new level. Scarlett will be teaching a vigorous style of yoga during each morning class and the evenings will focus on yin or restorative yoga and also give an opportunity to focus on individual aspects of the practice such as backbends, arm balances and inversions. We'll also give you the chance to get to know Ibiza a little better with some trips to Las Dalias hippie market and the drummers at Benniras beach.
Originally training as a dancer, I sustained a serious knee injury whilst studying at the Arts Educational School Tring Park. With a performing career out of the question I went on to university to further my knowledge in contemporary dance which is where I was first introduced to yoga due to its heavy influence in all my practical lectures. Having a total of six knee operations over a seven year period I started taking regular weekly yoga lessons at my local gym as part of my rehabilitation and quickly saw the huge benefits a consistent practice offers. Facing some personal and work related difficulties towards the end of 2014 I upped my practice dramatically and soon realised how important yoga had become for my health and happiness. With great support from my family I packed up my city job and set out for Goa, India where I spent one month doing my 200 hour YTTC intensive training with Sampoorna Yoga and a further two months teaching and assisting. I have now been four years knee operation free and my fascination with yoga grows each day.
