THE SEER'S POWER,
a Carlos Castaneda Group

This Group will explore the writing and worldview of Carlos Castaneda. Seers and shamans in the modern landscape need common language that conveys the deep spiritual and energetic principles of the spirit world, and the way it interacts, magically with the physical plane. Carlos Castaneda learned from and illuminated the deep knowledge of the Yaqui and Toltec traditions of Mexico in a series of 12 books that changed the way American culture viewed shamanism and power in the 1970's.

Carlos Castaneda's writings still have extreme relevance to the energetic transformation and awakening we are processing through now, and can help guide us in reclaiming personal power and our connection with the nagual (spirit world). These books were designed masterfully to accompany the seeker on the path to becoming a man/woman of knowledge, a seer. They reflect indigenous wisdom and the intelligence of the spirit in a way that can only be described as catalyzing, catalyzing something deep in our selves that remembers the old ways, and remembers the source of power we all can draw from, the Earth.

No specific book will be our focus in each group, but the teachings as a whole. It is recommended that you begin reading along in the series wherever you feel guided. We will also refer to "Song of the Deer" by Harley Swiftdeer as a complimentary source.
