RI Princess Program “Mentoring Young Ladies to Become Leaders of Tomorrow”
The RI Princess program is designed to introduce young ladies, ages 5 through 12 years of age, to the Miss Rhode Island and Outstanding Teen Programs before they reach competition age and to help them understand that Miss America is not just a dream but something they can begin preparing for at a young age. It allows them to work closely with the Rhode Island contestants who will serve as their role models and mentors through community service. The Princess Program encourages the participating girls to be the best person they can be, on the inside and out, and provides them a positive introduction to the amazing and talented Miss Rhode Island contestants. Ultimately, it is a fund-raising endeavor to increase scholarship awards for young women who are striving to reach their educational goals.
