Strength Training is Mobility Training! Get ready for a creative and playful yoga workshop! Discover how strength training may be applied to your yoga practice to reduce injury, improve range of motion and decrease pain. Learn how to adapt strengthening exercises to empower all body types, experience levels and needs. During this workshop, we will think about, talk and explore strength exercises and yoga postures differently and how you can incorporate strength into your yoga routine.

Think yoga blocks and straps are just for beginners? Think again! This workshop will not only show you how you can incorporate blocks and straps to deepen your practice, but it will help you become more in tune with your body and how each pose affects you. Come prepared to learn about yourself and to leave with a new love for these wonderful tools!

2:30-4pm Modo 101 w/ Jacqueline David and Calvin Wears
Ever wonder if you are doing chaturanga the right way? Ever wonder why we do a breathing exercise at the beginning of class? During this workshop, Calvin and Jacqueline will guide you to a deeper awareness of some of the postures that make up the Modo series. They will break down and explain some of the Modo series, and after posture discussion there will be time for Q & A. You can ask them anything!
