CAC Speakers Bureau, the Black Student Association, and National Pan-Hellenic Council presents a keynote lecture featuring Black Lives Matter Co-Founder Opal Tometi.
Opal Tometi is a Co-founder of #BlackLivesMatter. The historic political project was launched in the wake of the murder of Trayvon Martin in order to explicitly combat implicit bias and anti-black racism and to protect and affirm the beauty and dignity of all Black lives. Opal Tometi will address students on April 25th, 2018. This event is co-programmed with the help of the Black Student Association, Campus Activities Council, and the National Pan-Hellenic Council.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
