Moncrieff Entertainment Centre is proud to continue our Sensory Movie Events.Created specifically for families and carers of individuals with special needs, the sessions provide the opportunity for a much needed day out for movie lovers who may have unique requirements, along with their family and friends, to enjoy a positive and non-judgmental movie experience. These special screenings run with lights dimmed and the loud edge of the sound adjusted. Patrons are allowed to move seats and stand and best of all every single person is there for the same reason.

These events are a great opportunity for parents and carers of special needs individuals to enjoy a visit to the cinema with compassion and understanding from fellow movie goers. We expect every arm rest to be inspected, every seat to be sat in and tested, every aisle to be walked in and explored. That said, more than anything, we hope that the Sensory Movie Screenings provide families with a memorable day out!
These screenings are also suitable for 'Babes in Arms'. Great for parents or carers of babies who want to get out of the house, watch a movie and not feel worried about the distraction of crying or squirming. Please note: For safety reasons prams may not be able to be taken into the cinema, but they can be stored securely by staff for you during the film.
- Lighting is dim (not darkened) & sound lowered
- Companion I.D cards are accepted
