Retro film buffs and historians will want to take note of this month's Cinematheque, Marathon Branch's free weekly movie series. The theme is "Silent Scream," a tribute to silent movies and classic horror flicks. On April 4 at 6 p.m., the first selection is the silent-era film "Steamboat Bill, Jr.," made in 1928 and starring comedy great Buster Keaton. The movies are all shown on the large screen in the community room, and freshly popped popcorn will be served (for free!).
