Create a unique nature journaling page from MNHC bird specimen collection packets. Choose a species packet and spend four sessions composing the page and closely observing and drawing its skull, wing, and feet on a 9"x12” page. Use field guides and full taxidermy specimens to understand birds better and to add information to your specific study.

Nancy will provide an introductory framework for the process and assist with tips and tricks throughout the evening. No experience is needed!

Enjoy a beverage as you sketch during each special two-hour session. Take some time this spring to work on your art and learn more about bird anatomy in a fun and relaxing setting.

Ticket cost includes all materials and two glasses of wine per session.

Nancy Seiler is a certified Golden Artist Educator. She teachers workshops from her studio in Missoula and abroad. Her work is in numerous collections and exhibitions.

Cost: $100 for MNHC members, $120 for non-members.

Dates: This four-part series runs the first four Wednesdays in May: May 2nd, 9th, 16th, and 23rd, from 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Registration is required.
