Moolah Movie Nights is teaming up with St. Louis Earth Day to bring you a week's worth of environmentally conscious films. For this CINEMATHEQUE TUESDAY @ The Moolah Lounge we bring you a double feature from South Korean filmmaker, Bong Joon-Ho, a filmmaker who uses genre workouts to showcase his environmental concerns.

7:30PM--THE HOST ('06) A monster, the product of environmental waste, emerges from Seoul's Han River and focuses its attention on attacking people. One victim's loving family does what it can to rescue her from its clutches. According to the director, his inspiration came from a reports about a deformed fish with an S-shaped spine caught in the Han River. (120m)

9:30PM--SNOWPIERCER ('13) Set in a future where a failed climate-change experiment kills all life on the planet except for a lucky few who boarded the Snowpiercer, a train that travels around the globe, where a class system emerges. (126m)
