Veterinarians are invited to join us for a short presentation followed by facilitated open discussion around the topic of achieving sustainability in our professional lives.

Every one of us, GP or specialist, has arrived at our chosen profession after considerable personal effort, sacrifice, and investment of time and money. Becoming a veterinarian requires motivation and drive, and for many of us a strong call to this profession provides that motivation. Yet all too often, we, our friends, our colleagues, are unable to remain happy in the veterinary profession long term. What sets us up for this struggle? What ongoing stressors contribute? How can we intervene to reduce the unacceptably high depression and suicide rates among veterinarians?

How can we be our authentic, imperfect, selves and embrace the positive side of our jobs, while at the same time protecting ourselves against being overly dragged down by the negatives?

Space is limited. Please RSVP to events@summitvets.com.
