Join us at Mosaic Yoga with Shawna Turner for an afternoon of Yin Yoga and Mindfulness on Sunday, April 22nd.
Yin yoga is a beautiful complement to a more dynamic movement practice. It works more specifically with the connective tissues and joints in the body and is a great way to increase range of motion and flexibility. As a result of the passive and meditative component of the practice, it helps to calm the mind and balance out a busy life. Yin yoga enhances our vitality and overall health.
This is a two hour yin yoga class which will introduce you to the 3 main principles of this practice, as well as the basics of mindfulness meditation.
There will be an opportunity for a seated meditation to close out our time together.
Both beginning and experienced yogis will enjoy this workshop.
