This workshop will explore the often overlooked role but vitally important role of pollinators and insects at the farm and in your home garden. “Some of the most important members of our field crew are not on our payroll. They just fly in to visit the plants,” explains John. “Yet we couldn’t farm without pollinators…and you’d have a hard time gardening at home without them.”

Join Kyle and Wes for a discussion of the bugs and insects you want in your garden and learn what we are doing to encourage and enlist them at the farm. As part of this workshop we’ll be walking in our fields, so wear sturdy shoes or boots that you don’t mind getting muddy.

This is a free workshop and is suitable for gardeners of all experience levels. No pre-registration is necessary.

To get the most from your garden, we recommend that you join us for our other “Good Gardening” workshops: https://www.moultonfarm.com/news/168/21/Have-a-better-garden-with-our-free-gardening-workshops
