On Friday, April 27 the Mount Joy Chamber of Commerce will be holding their Annual Chamber Banquet & Benefit Auction at Cameron Estate Inn & Restaurant, Carriage House. Our theme this year is “puttin on the glitz”.
This is a major fundraiser for the Chamber and the monies raised help to support the community events such as Music in Memorial Park which will be held on 4 consecutive Sundays beginning on July 29, Visits with Santa at Christmas, our seven scholarships totaling $4,500 which are awarded to local students and it also helps to support the Mount Joy Chamber office and Visitor’s Center.
You do NOT need to be a Chamber member to attend the Banquet & Benefit Auction. Anyone may attend. However, you will want to contact the Chamber office and register by Friday, April 13 to get the discounted price and for more information.
The evening will begin at 5:30 pm with Silent and Chinese (new this year) Auction items and wide selection of appetizers provided by area restaurants. Beginning at 7 pm we will have delicious dinner followed by the Live Auction.
The Chamber is still accepting donations of items, experiences and services. If you have something you would like to donate to the auction, your name will be included with your donated item and it will also be in the program that evening. Please contact the Chamber office regarding your donation.
There will be a photo booth for lots of added fun and our very own “celebrity auctioneers”!!
