Over a billion people worldwide do not have the full Bible in the language they know best. We are on a mission to get the whole Bible translated into every language in this generation. Help us by sponsoring a verse for translation.

Did You Know?

The Deaf community wants the hearing to know they are not disabled.
They simply use a different language to communicate with.

There are an estimated 70 million Deaf people in the world and only 2% have been exposed to the gospel.
The Deaf community is the most marginalized and often the most forgotten people group.
Some estimates indicate up to 200 million are considered severely or profoundly hearing impaired

Deafness is unique - it cuts off children from their family and heart language, and in some cultures, all access to education.
Deaf people enter a new people group where there are scarce resources to support them.
Many Deaf people outside the western world cannot read or struggle to read - written scripture does not give them access to the gospel.
The % of the population in the Muslim world that is deaf, is much higher due to genetic deafness created through arranged marriages.

Bible translation organizations believe there are up to 400 different sign languages in the world
The full Bible is not translated into a single sign language, not even the American Sign Language (ASL)

Mount Pisgah will be the first church to engage and invest in an Adopt-A-Verse project for a sign language. We are pioneers in this opportunity to bring God's Word to the 80,000 deaf in South Sudan. In addition to bringing God's Word to those who are cut off in the Muslim world, the sign language projects also serve as a tool to provide access to education among the Deaf community.

As we pray for the Deaf who are Bibleless, see Jesus calling out to them. Ask God to make Bible translation possible in their language. God's Word Changes Everything!

A $35 investment translates one Bible verse into South Sundanese Sign Language.

• Fill out an envelope with your information and leave it in the baskets on each table
• Give cash, check, or credit card at the kiosk in the Gathering Area
