Waldorf Schools around the world have the unique practice of celebrating numerous festivals, in spite of being non-sectarian. What are these festivals, their meaning, and their subtle impact on the children? How does the observance of these special events support the students in answering the three destiny questions that we all face?
Come join us on Tuesday, November 14th from 6:00 - 7:00pm (child care provided - donations accepted) for a talk by Donald Samson, Mountain Song’s Pedagogical Director. Mr. Samson worked for 20 years as a class teacher, teaching several high school blocks as well, giving him an experience of grades 1-12 in Waldorf. Before coming to Mountain Song, he served as Director of Curriculum and Instruction for four years at Juniper Ridge Community School, a sister public Waldorf charter in Grand Junction, CO.
