In these classes Sacred Middle Eastern (Belly) Dance is taught with an honoring of the Deep Feminine. The movements generate from within while we learn the outer dance.
Included in our time together are:
~ A Movement Meditation that will stimulate and restore our centers
~ A mindful Moving Into the Body that is our essential resource
~ A joyful and spirit filled learning of the dance!
We come to dance for the love of dancing… We are open to receive its healing properties…We embrace our embodiment...We celebrate our empowerment…We appreciate the gifts and beauty of our diversity in...age...ethnicity...size...gender...etc...

Francine witnesses and draws from the many healing properties of this dance and deeply acknowledges the body as a sacred vessel, which carries spirit into the physical world.
Her passion and gifts are revealed in the dance as she teaches the age-old art with humor and love.
Francine Passias, CHT…Has taught Middle Eastern Belly Dance for 18 years and her style is primarily Egyptian although she draws from Greek, African, Turkish and folkloric dances…Her strengths in teaching this dance are creating a safe space for the learning of the dance…she teaches the rich history of the dance…while her biggest gift is breaking down the basic isolations of the dance for the easy and embodied learning of the dance… She teaches the dance from the inside out so one truly embodies a felt-sense experience. She created Moving Into the Body and Embracing the Deep Feminine retreats, The Body as Resource ,The Gift of Non~Linear and Mindful Movement classes. She opened Moving Life Studio as an oasis for healing and personal growth…offering opportunities for moving…learning…and experience…
