MSU Extension offers local workshop on having a successful cottage food business
Michigan’s Cottage Food Law allows those with an entrepreneurial spirit the opportunity to sell certain foods, made in their home kitchens, to the public. These foods are to be sold face to face at places such as farmers markets. If you are one of those individuals with an innovative spirit and are considering selling some of your homemade food products you will be interested a cottage food workshop held at the Lenawee County MSU Extension office located at 1040 S. Winter St., Adrian, MI 49221. The workshop will be April 12, from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
There is a small fee to attend this workshop that will help you have a successful small food business.
