Chasing Light: A Discussion with Photographer Amanda Lucidon

Join us for a discussion with White House photographer Amanda Lucidon about her New York Times bestselling book" Chasing Light: Michelle Obama through the Lens of a White House Photographer".

"Chasing Light" is a striking and intimate collection of 150 color photographs - many never before seen - along with personal reflections and stories from Ms. Lucidon, the Official White House Photographer from 2013 to 2017, the only female photographer during her time in the Obama White House.

In conjunction with an exhibit of photographs from the book, Ms. Lucidon will discuss the book and her work as a photographer. Photographs from the book will be exhibited at Mt. Pleasant Neighborhood Library from October 17 til November 10.
