Have you ever wondered how to go about crafting a 2020 proposal, or what the course goals should be for a literature course? Do you want some hands-on tips for how to put together a proposal with an opportunity for feedback?
If the answer is “yes” join us for an EGSO sponsored workshop on Wednesday, 4/18 from 4-5:15 in PH 318. Dr.
Ellen Donovan will discuss the “why” of crafting proposals and what your course goals should be for any lower division lit class. We will look at approved 2020 proposals from Ph.D. Students and talk about what made them work— and hear tips from both students that have taken the Teaching Lit Course, that has taught 2030, and have taught their own 2020 courses, including ideas for course design, assignments, and more.
You will have some workshop time during the class with the opportunity to generate ideas for feedback. We also welcome you to bring your developed or in progress documents or just an idea for a great class for collaborative feedback with your peers and Dr. Donovan.
