Top choral group and 2017 Cumbria Life Choir of the Year finalists Herdwyck Consort perform their concert ‘Dainty Fine Byrd’ in the Castle Drawing Room.
This special and unusual concert is a homage to all things Byrd and bird-related. Also included in the programme are pieces by Stanford, Holst and Gibbons, spanning music from 16th to 20th centuries.
The concert begins at 5pm with the Castle door open to concert-goers from 4.15pm for complimentary tea or coffee and cake.
Tickets are limited and cost £20 for adults or £10 for under-16s, (50% discount to Friends of Muncaster).
As well as the concert and refreshments, ticket prices include entry to Muncaster Castle, Gardens and Hawk & Owl Centre for the whole day from 10.30am, including two exhilarating bird of prey displays at 11.30am and 2pm and the wild heron feed at 4pm. Plus guests can enjoy the gardens after the concert has finished. So you can make a day of it with us!
