Nia 5 Stages - 6 Week series
"Nia 5 Stages" is an integrative movement practice based on five developmental moves: embryonic, creeping, crawling, standing and walking. Retracing the stages in an adult body is a pathway to reclaiming the body’s natural strength, flexibility, mobility and neural plasticity. With regular practice, these moves contribute to spinal health, re-patterning and restructuring the whole body, enhancing physical and energetic balance.
What to expect
This will be a 6 week series where each week will focus on one of our base body parts starting with our feet and working our way up. I'll help you to see your body in a new way and bring new, practical, everyday functionality to your body and see it in a new light. From this new knowledge and experience we can ground ourselves in our unique and firm foundation, then sense ourselves “Dancing though life” while “Standing On Top of The World".
What to bring
Just yourself in some comfy clothes (eg: Yoga clothes) and a bottle of water. We will be spending alot of time on the mats of my nice new dojo and I have knee pads available for this.
For me, the integration of these powerful principles and practices into our everyday lives is priority one. This is my passion and my joy and I’m 100% committed to assisting you on this incredible journey and I can't wait to share this growing experience with you.
