DRAW WHAT YOU SEE
Drawing techniques based on Betty Edwards' book, Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain, using traditional drawing materials & learning from observation.

Participants will learn basic bookbinding skills while and more, including paste-papers & pop-ups This is an opportunity to be precise with hand skills and respond intuitively in the creative process.

Learning the basics of wood turning using the wood lathe to cut beads and coves. Students will make individualized mallets and other small turned pieces. Multi-age groups. Maximum 4 per group.

EMPTY BOWL FAMILY WORKSHOP
Come join us for a one hour workshop where your family will make bowls to use in NeedLine's "Empty Bowl" project, which helps raise money to combat food shortages for residents in Calloway County. Each participant will create one bowl to giveaway, no experience necessary. Feel free to donate what you want to help us cover materials!

POP ART SCULPTURE: EVERYDAY IN PAPERMACHE
Come join us as we use papermache to create everyday items, full of fun & whimsy!

Working with basic clay hand building techniques, pinch coil and slab, students will construct both sculptural and functional works in clay. There will be drying, firing and glazing as students experience the clay process. Josh also gives the students an opportunity to try their hand on the potter’s wheel.
