Class Description: This short three-day anime art course consists of 6 specialized lessons. During the class, we will focus on methods and skills to help students learn how to draw anime and manga style art. In addition, the class will focus on helping students find their own personal style and methods within the art form. Each lesson will have a specific topic and activity for students to complete and take home with them. These lessons aim to not only teach them about how to draw anime style art but to also give them tips and tricks to help them with their own self-teaching beyond the classroom.

Instructor: This class will be taught by the Museums' talented staff member, Lauren Turner. She is a Wesleyan graduate with a degree in Studio Art.

Age Requirements: Rising 6th - 12th graders
