A Patterned Response
March 31 - August 19, 2018
Reception: April 19 // 6-8 p.m.
MOCA Jacksonville's Permanent Collection is an accessible resource for University of North Florida (UNF) students, who aspire to develop a deeper understanding of contemporary art and curatorial processes. Conceptualized by students of UNF Painting and Drawing Guild, A Patterned Response highlights a unique collaboration between students, Professor Jason John, Gallery Director Jim Draper, and the Museum's curatorial team. Throughout the winter term, students engaged in active and thoughtful conversations to curate a project exhibition that operates in dialogue with the adjacent exhibition Attentive Arrangements.
Join us for an evening of cocktails, community and celebration at the A Patterned Response reception. NOLA MOCA will be open for dinner, so make a night of it at the Museum!
