In preparation for our Sunday Guest Speaker on April 15th, we’ll be hosting a showing of the documentary 13th at the congregation. In 13th, filmmaker Ava DuVernay explores the history of racial inequality in the United States, focusing on the fact that the nation's prisons are disproportionately filled with African-Americans.

Join us for an afternoon of popcorn and discussion. The film is recommended for older teens and adults, and childcare will be provided. If you have questions, contact Social Action Committee Chair Megan Duffy-Sananikone at meganduffysananikone@gmail.com.

This will be the first of a series of coffee gatherings, so come to learn more!
