This is a full day class where I will be teaching you
making cream, making ganache,:
my methods for levelling, splitting, filling and icing a sponge cake.
*Demonstration of making chocolate ganache for cake covering -.
You will see how to make ganache from scratch, so that you can confidently make it yourself at home. I will give you a useful reference sheet for variations and ideas on flavouring your ganache.
*How to level and fill a deep cake.
*Ganache the outside of your cake-
You will use it to cover the outside of your cake to give a smooth finish.
*Covering with fondant icing-.
You will learn how to ice the cake with fondant to a professional standard. How to get rid of air bubbles and create sharp edges. Also how to achieve clean and attractive finish.
There will be a lot of advice and cake 6 inch will be provided which you will work on . You can take it home.
All equipment is also provided, just bring your lunch and apron.
Its small class with 4 students maximum, to allow me to give you plenty help and attention.
Cost of the day is £150 , available to pay in 2 instalments.
