This study morning will see a panel of international speakers examine the treatment and behaviour of artists in Germany at the period under focus. The morning will be introduced by National Gallery of Ireland Director Sean Rainbird, who will chair the discussion session at the end. Speakers include Dr Shulamith Behr, of the The Courtauld Institute of Art, and expert in German Expressionist art; Dr Sabine Kriebel of University College Cork, a scholar on early 20th Century and inter-war art and social history, and author Dr Ines Schlenker, who has written extensively about Nazi politics and art.

This study morning is in association with our exhibition #NoldeColourIsLife which runs until 10 June 2018.
