Join Tara for a 2 hour workshop exploring the pelvic floor and learn how to enhance pelvic health and awareness through movement. This workshop will demystify the layers of muscle that comprise the pelvic floor and explore it’s functional relationship with the rest of the body. You will learn:
- the muscles of the pelvic floor and how to recruit these muscles - how dysfunction in the pelvic floor can lead to disorders like incontinence, prolapse, low back and pelvic pain
- the top 10 clinically proven exercises in which one can most easily engage the pelvic floor muscles.
You will leave the workshop with more body awareness, a better understanding of how to prevent and treat pelvic floor disorders and a handout complete with an exercise routine that you can do at home. Suitable for all women, from pre-pregnancy through to post-menopause.
