Bring a pair of binoculars, a camera and a lot of excitement as we explore the natural beauty of our area. Learn ways that you can contribute to scientific research through citizen science projects while identifying local flora and fauna. This month’s exploration will be at Helms Preserve (543 Sunset Terrace, Whiteville.) We will be exploring practical uses of iNaturalist, a free citizen science app. Meet at the parking lot at the head of the trail. For more information contact Meredith Morgan at 910-914-4185 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
In case of inclement weather call the museum for possible cancellations. This program is recommended for ages 8 and up, but all ages are welcome.
