Textiles Research Open House is a one-day event created to share textiles-related research with industry professionals and NC State College of Textiles students. Organized by the Textile Association of Graduate Students with support provided by The VF Foundation, the event aims to open a dialogue and establish networks with those involved in textiles and related industries.
Attendees to the 2018 Textiles Research Open House will hear from College of Textiles graduate students during concurrent oral presentations. They will also attend a poster session featuring the exciting work of both graduate and undergraduate Textiles students; the students will discuss their advancements in textile sciences and design with topics of interest including protective textiles, wearable technology, medical textiles, nonwovens, color chemistry, global markets, manufacturing innovation and more. There is no charge for this event and registration is required.
