All woody landscape plants will need pruning during their lifetime. The objectives of pruning are to produce strong, healthy and aesthetically attractive plants that complement our property.
On Saturday, April 21st, there will be two chances to catch a class for those interested in reviewing the basics of how to prune their fruit tree or shrubs for optimum plant health and fruit production.
Where: Lakota, Extension Office
We will start inside, followed by hands-on pruning of the Courthouse apple trees.
Where: Aneta, Community Center and Community Orchard
We will start at the Community Center, and head to the Community Orchard for hands-on pruning demos.
Pre-registration is not required, but please call 701-247-2521 or email Katelyn at Katelyn.email@example.com with any questions, or special assistance requirements.
A limited number of pruning shears will be available, please feel free to bring your own.
