A farmer from the SLO Farmers Co-op, a group of local, sustainable, and organic farms will talk about animal rearing practices, the cost of production and processing, and the protection of water-rich farmland through grazing. Carrie Taicher, a Registered Dietitian at Aurora BayCare, will address the nutrient differences in quality meat. SLO will also provide information on monthly meat box shares.
