Darbar Fringe is a new festival exploring the connections between classical, contemporary and urban creative contexts, analysing the significance of South Asian and wider cultural influences on art and UK identity. At its heart the festival draws inspiration from Europe's largest Indian classical festival, Darbar, exploring contemporary cultural representations through
art and culture. This weekend of events will feature a unique residency and collaborative sharing by classical Indian and
Western musicians; talks reflecting on global and UK contexts with leading thinkers and artists; high quality live music concerts and opportunities to taste delicious cuisine during Brunch Time Concerts.
