MARCH MINDFULNESS MEDITATION
In this month of March Madness, we're bringing you the antidote-- March Mindfulness. Mindfulness is the practice of being unconditionally present, and it encourages us to acknowledge our thoughts and emotions just as they are, rather than trying to change them. There is powerful research on the positive effects of mindfulness on stress reduction, immune function, learning, and social relationships. Our meditation will be followed a discussion of how to bring mindfulness into everyday life, including mindful eating.
