A river and river banks and towns rich with logging history and artifacts. 110-130 miles of class I-III rapids through Maine's most remote and beautiful wilderness. It is the longest and wildest free-flowing river left in the eastern U.S. This trip runs in May as that is when the river flows freely due to the absence of dams and lakes. The St John, St Croix and Allagash are three primary rivers that paddlers love to paddle.
The Trip starts at neoc on the 1st morning and is all inclusive, just bring clothes, toiletries and your sleeping bag. Some paddling experience is required for this trip as we will paddle class 1-3 rapids.
