USC Sol Price School of Public Policy and NYDIS are offering the training intensive "Safe Communities in an Unsafe World!"

Community stakeholders, policymakers, first-responders, educators, social workers, and healthcare practitioners, this 1-day program is for you!

Taught by Homeland Security and Law Enforcement experts, this intensive course offers most advanced research and practical resources on extremism, cross-cultural conflict management, and de-escalation. It explores the role of resilience, empathy, ethics and conflict-of-interest strategies in mitigating conflict resolutions. Attendees will not only understand the theoretical and cultural foundations of these concepts but will be also equipped to use specific tools to address real-life situations that may arise in their areas of practice.
