“Ballet Today” is an hour-long introduction to the basics of ballet in a joyful, follow along fitness format catered to the absolute beginner (no dance experience necessary). Allonge your way through the sounds of today (Sean Paul, Justin Timberlake, Ariana Grande- with a few Broadway and soul tunes peppered in) while lengthening and strengthening long ballet muscles, strengthening your core and improving balance, discovering length and height in your body and improving posture. Class will include a small conditioning portion on the floor, so feel free to bring a mat if you need it! Ever been curious about the life of a dancer? Try “Ballet Today”!
Attire: Wear anything you are comfortable working out in. The class can be taken in bare feet or socks. If you would like to bring ballet shoes, please do!
