Delivered by experienced ASI SUP and Yoga instructor Leanne Bird. Leanne holds ASI L1, L2 SUP and SUP Yoga Instructor qualifications, water rescue and senior first aid certificates. She is a 200-hour Yoga Teacher (member of Yoga Alliance UK) and has a wealth of Yoga teaching and SUP yoga teaching experience.
The ASI SUP Yoga Teacher course covers how to structure and adapt yoga poses for different abilities on a SUP, safety issues, assessment of water and weather conditions, how to create the ASI SUP Yoga session plans and how to market a SUP Yoga business.
The SUP Rescue covers key rescue techniques specifically for SUP Instructors. SUP Wise for Instructors Foundation Skills covers ASI methodology for correct paddling technique and all competencies for enclosed flatwater locations.
The workshops will be held on the calm, flat waters of the river Teifi. It’s a Special Area of Conservation which has a beautiful wooded valley running alongside. The wildlife on the river includes birdlife, flocks of curlews, bats, and otters.
