Today, business people know that the various social media platforms are an important part of an effective marketing plan. In addition, many businesses have already set up their social media accounts. However, it is difficult to find the time to actively utilize them regularly for marketing. It’s time for a tune-up and optimization.

Learn about the latest updates on the major platforms as well as some useful social media apps to help you efficiently and effectively manage your social media marketing without letting it consume your life. Our speaker, Katie Dyer, will help arm you with the keys to enable you to successfully use social media as a managed part of your overall marketing plan.

Katie Dyer is the owner of CADEAUX du MONDE, an award winning, online, eclectic, green, fair trade international folk art gallery formerly located at 26 Mary Street, Newport, RI and established in 1987. Having always looked for innovative ways to market her folk art gallery, multicultural workshops, and rental business over the 27 years she has been in business, Katie has been actively using social media, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Pinterest, YouTube and Instagram as a business marketing tool. In addition to running the social media marketing for all her business pursuits, she has expanded CADEAUX du MONDE's outreach by offering Social Media Marketing, Training and Management for businesses.

CADEAUX du MONDE currently has a roster of clients utilizing their social media training and management services including many local businesses and non-profits. The focus is on helping businesses get their social media marketing up, running and networked so that it is an easy to use, efficient and integral part of their overall marketing plan.

This seminar was rescheduled from an earlier date in March due to a snowstorm.
