In the Epistle of First John (3:16-24), we are reminded that love is more than merely understanding the problem of poverty or being moved by compassion for the poor. It is more than being able to talk about what love requires. Love means actually doing something. The author calls us to take pity on the poor not as a guilt trip, but as a labor of love in response to Christ’s labor of love for us. Join us for worship as we ponder the relationship of between belief and action in our message "In Truth & Action."
