The Games We Play: Recreation in the Urban Space

Get Directions

#var:page_name# cover

Sadly, it's the last Nerds in NoMa of the season. Happily, Spring has sprung in The District! That means it's time to get outside and play, which is why we're bringing in leaders from DC's booming and diverse recreation scene to talk shop.

Whether you're running on the mall, rowing on the Anacostia, or biking to work, there are a TON of ways to make new friends and get outside in DC. Join us for a conversation about how to make The District your playground!

Moderating the discussion is Matt Liddle, REI's Outdoor Programs and Outreach Mid-Atlantic Manager. He'll be chatting with Martin Espinoza, President and Founder of Stonewall Sports, Robert Kinsler, Founder of DC Fray, Najeema Washington, Co-Founder of Black Women Bike, and Joe Tezak, Capital Adaptive Rowing Program Manager.

Drinks, snacks, and good conversation await! We'll see you on April 10th.
