North Bar's infamous Lowlands Festival is returning this April!

But what does Lowlands even mean? Well it’s simply the low-lying area of Belgium and The Netherlands and the home to many incredible breweries. From a tart and sour Geuze to a soft and creamy Tripel, this region produces some of the most famous and fascinating beers in the world. We're devoting the whole of April to a celebration of these beers with our biggest beer list yet (thanks Cal!)

To kick off the festival we're welcoming Brasserie de la Senne to take over our taps!

On tap throughout the weekend:

Taras Boulba
Light blonde. Generously hopped with the finest aromatic hops giving it a very refreshing character and a scent reminiscent of citrus.

Jambe De Bois
With a scent of ripe banana and a subtle blend of old varieties of aromatic hops. The malt dominates and is supported by a long and delicate bitterness. A great interpretation of the tripel.

Zinnebir
Golden blonde. Malty, with a fine bitterness and a long aftertaste. The scent is complex, developing a fruity-hop intense fragrance.

In bottles:

Stouterik
An Irish style stout with light dry notes, freshly bitter with a roasted finish.
