Homegrown guitar wizard Ben Natti of Hamtown Productions in Brooklyn is releasing an EP of instrumental rock guitar - "The Hammer Sessions".
Guitarist, producer, composer, teacher, and clinician Ben Natti grew up in a small town in northern New Hampshire, where he started playing guitar at age 12. After growing up on rock guitar greats, he later discovered jazz and fusion, and began melding the styles together in his formative years.
After high school Ben attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, where he intensely studied improvisation, sight-reading, chordal playing, and honed his overall musicianship with teachers such as Chris Buono, John Baboian, David Gilmore, Jack Pezanelli, Norm Zocher, and Tim Miller.
After graduating from Berklee in 2009 with a degree in Guitar Performance, Ben spent two years teaching, writing and gigging in Boston before moving to NYC in the fall of 2011. Ben is now a working musician in NYC, and is currently the guitar player for recording artists Darnaa, French Montana, and Raheem Devaughn among others; as well as an Off-Broadway and session guitarist. Ben is also the Founder and CEO of HAMtown Productions, his NYC-based live/studio music production company.
