You don’t have to be an experienced “yogi” before participating in a prenatal yoga class. As long as your doctor gives you the green light to stay physically active during pregnancy, yoga is ideal for all expectant moms: It’s gentle and designed for pregnancy, which aims to help calm the mind, control breathing, relieve common aches and pains and build strength to prepare you in all aspects of childbirth and beyond.
